Kelsey and Jim met a long, long time ago, in 2023. This story of heartfelt romance began one October evening, when Kelsey first laid her eyes on a photo of a handsome blonde (Goose), and slid into Jim's DM's. Shortly thereafter, Jim asked Kelsey to dinner at SAVR in Seaport, the neighborhood where the two lovebirds now reside together with their 3 large fur babies.
Kelsey and Jim bonded over their love of travel, experiencing different cultures, skiing, boating and parenting their dogs. Over the course of their first year together, Kelsey and Jim visited 7 countries together and created memories to last a lifetime. Kelsey perfected her first mate skills last summer and is convinced that is when Jim knew he would marry her.
Jim proposed to Kelsey on an August evening in Christopher Columbus Park, in the North End of Boston, while the two were on their way to dinner at Mare. On this particular evening, Kelsey was in somewhat of a "super grumpy" mood. Jim insisted the two go to dinner, when he got home from the office. Kelsey agreed, but not without some huffing and puffing. As they took the elevator down from the apartment, Kelsey asked Jim how far the Uber was, to which Jim said they would walk to the North End instead (Jim does NOT walk... anywhere). This should have been a telltale sign of what was to come, but instead it just made Kelsey more grumpy. As they were walking past the park, Jim asked Kelsey to take a seat on a bench to chat and enjoy the evening before dinner. Then, as Jim told Kelsey that earlier that day he had spoken on the phone with her brother, and mother and father, Kelsey asked Jim if he was proposing to her... Jim said "well, you're not really supposed to call me out like that...". Kelsey's mood immediately changed, overwhelmed with happiness and excitement, and now here we are.
With this wedding, Kelsey and Jim wish to celebrate and share a little bit of what they've bonded over with the people who are closest to them. They can't wait to show you one of their favorite places and celebrate a New Year's Eve everyone is sure to remember for a lifetime.
